I’ve called beautiful, coastal Maine home (aside from a couple of brief times living in Miami and Asheville, NC) since the late 90’s when I relocated from Ohio to finish my studies in studio Art and Art History. While completing my degree, I took a part time job as an apparel stylist in a photo studio in Portland and continued on to have a wonderful career in the commercial photography industry, both as a Stylist and an Art Director.  I happily continue this work now, along with interiors consulting services.

Through the years of career growth as a creative professional, I never stopped painting. I love studying and trying to capture the ever-changing Maine coast, skies and natural elements through my artwork. I also like combining that inspiration with what I’ve learned through my experiences in visual communication.

And as a girl originally from Ohio, I can often be heard annoying my two children by reminding them, “Look where you live!” Anything I create is intended to come from that place of awe, gratitude, love and connectedness – and my hope is that it brings a sense of joy, peace, curiosity and reminiscence to the viewer.
